Take a stand topic. Teenagers under the age of 18 are not allowed to use smartphone for more than 30 minutes a day.



Today’s my topic is that teenagers under the age of 18 are not allowed to use smartphone for more than 30minutes a day.  The reasons are as follows.
First, addiction
Recently, we saw teenagers using the smartphone in the subway and bus, also even using it during the lunch. Students who carry their smartphones in the class room spend most of their time texting and browsing in the internet instead of pay attention to their teacher.
Adolescents should do reading books, going out with friends, exercising. But they don’t have the time to read books, to meke friends, to exercise or even do homeworks. Because of spending time with using smartphones. Teenagers are very diffcult to judge their own work and control themselves. So, they can easily become addicted by overuse of their smartphones.

Second, brain development
Teenagers are to be exposed violent video games, violent movies. So adolescents spend large amounts of time playing them with their smartphones. / These teenagers are easy to accept external stimulus passively./ Actually teenagers to live their life well, they must develop their strengths in the future. They have to design and pioneer their own life. If they are exposed recurring to such stimulus, their judgment and creativity would be lost or lacking. Therefore, teenagers under the age of 18 should refrain from using smartphones.


Third, health
Teenagers’s excessive use of smartphones can have bad effects on their body health and mental heath too. One of the most negative effects of using smartphone is near-sightness. The condition is caused by spending long hours staring at the screen of a smartphone at a short-distance. Another health problems are as turtle neck syndrome, depression, Obsessions, anxiety, interpersonal affliction, impulse control disorder and sleep disorder. Especially Obsessions and depression are the most serious.
 Therefore, to relieve these problems, young people should reduce their smartphone usage to less than 30 minutes a day.
